Jacob Reisberg is the Senior Policy Counsel at ACLU SoCal. Jacob's work focuses on jail conditions and related issues. Jacob has previously worked in New York City local government and as a defense attorney representing individuals arrested while protesting the Dakota Access Pipeline at Standing Rock. Jacob graduated from Harvard Law School. He clerked on the United States District Court for the District of Oregon for Judge Michael H. Simon and on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit for Judge David J. Barron.


Belinda Escobosa has 20 years of experience as a civil rights attorney and is the principal counsel of Escobosa Law. She is one of the nation’s foremost lawyers and advocates for social justice and has represented and amplified the voices of the most marginalized communities. As Interim Legal Director for the National Immigration Law Center (NILC) and later as National Senior Counsel for the Mexican American Legal Defense & Education Fund (MALDEF), Belinda led and developed national impact litigation for employment, voting rights, and immigrants’ rights cases.
