In today's quickly shifting legal landscape, sanctuary laws have once again become a significant issue for those seeking to protect immigrant rights. This training is focused on Sanctuary and Federal Harboring Laws and how these laws interact with one another. It is designed for both legal practitioners and immigrant's rights advocates.

Viewers will gain insights in understanding the varying types and operations of sanctuary laws, their application in California, how they can serve as vital tools to protect immigrant communities, as well as their limits. The training also covers federal harboring laws, helping viewers understand their legal obligations under these laws - even in jurisdictions where sanctuary protections apply.

Training Presentation Date: February 12, 2025

The presentations are also available to download below in both English and Spanish.
