About the event

What happens to children apprehended by Border Patrol and what rights do they have once they're detained? Children in immigration custody are protected by settlements and orders in Flores and Lucas R., the Constitution, international law, and the TVPRA. Advocates for detained children and their families can use these protections to mitigate the trauma children experience and help bring them home to their families as quickly as possible.
