About the event

The U.S. immigration detention system is arbitrary and it systematically exposes detained migrants to violations of the prohibition on torture and other cruel, inhuman, or degrading treatment or punishment. This webinar analyzes how the U.S. immigration detention system violates international law and how to use international law to frame, bolster, and support immigration work and advocacy.
